I rated them initially 5 stars for quick response time to booking,only to get to the motel to be informed I wasn't on their data base for the booking!! Messaged customer care & they told me they'd check it. 30mins later I get an email apologizing for the mix-up and told to go to the motel.To be sure,I call the motel Qube,the receptionist imforms me I can't be allowed.i have a valid Russian port !! Can someone pls tell me since when a valid international Russian port is untenable?!smh

The only advantage is the ability to pay with russian card. But in case of any trouble your money will never be refunded. If you really want to, keep all the documentation in written form (if the hotel can't provide a room, ask for a reject paper), don't even try to get help from (they won't help you) and have a good luck in a court.

I had booked a flat using the app. On the site it was written prepayment. I ed the owner through Whatsapp, he told me to pay 80% of the amount through сбербанк. I paid him the amount and asked for acknowledgement. He did not give me any acknowledgement and blocked me. It was a scam. My money wasn't returned. Where is the authenticity of the app? Who is responsible for this issue?

I booked a hotel in Ostrovok at the middle of the June. The hotel didn't open the door when I came. They declined my request and promised to refund through Ostrovok. The first reply from Ostrovok was 2 weeks later. They added my request to "waiting list". The next "please wait more" communication was at the beggining of the August. Scum app with awful service and .

Ostrovok made me wait over one hour in hotel lobby and refused to cancel reservation. I booked 2 hotel rooms on Ostrovok. When I arrived at the hotel, they told me there was no reservation under my name. In fact, they said they didn't work with Ostrovok and didn't even know that business. I called Ostrovok to explain the situation and they said they would take care of it. I waited in hotel lobby for one hour and the hotel still did not have any reservation for me. So I called Ostrovok to tell them to cancel the reservations and that I was leaving the hotel. They refused to cancel the reservations and warned me that they would charge my card anyway. I left the hotel because making me wait over one hour in a hotel lobby for a room I already booked is unreasonable. They ended up charging my card although I never was able to check in. Great customer service Ostrovok... Will never use again and recommend anyone to use an alternative like Agoda.
