Nice product 👍... cannot increase brightness on some designs then controller will freeze...but still love cololight 🙂...need more customization so that s can create more designs.

I really like the lighting tiles itself and the app aldo works quite well. Especially the custom dynamic effects are great! Although, two things need to be added to this part in my opinion. First, I want to create my own colorpalettes/gradients. Second, there needs to be a slower speed setting. Even at the lowest, the lights fade too fast for me.

Pairing is a disaster, i have all 3 types of controllers and none of them pairs reliably. Instructions are unclear and often wrong, holding the button on the pro unit for 2 seconds doesn't start BT pairing, it's actually more than 5 seconds. Some controllers pairing via WiFi or BT, the instructions don't mention that. Lighting effects are completely undocumented, there's a lot of trial and error involved. Overall buggy and poorly documented, only buy this if you know wireshark and python

When it worked there were ads just to turn on/off the products that you already paid for. Now I can't figure out any way to even get the app to successfully start up. If nothing changes I've just wasted so much money since I used these to decorate two gaming areas ** Update: after three days the app is back up and running so at least theres that. **

I now have 26 lights, setting up on a steady pattern software is not updating created template .. Nice software but not smooth. Plus is it possible to "read" the links rather than pull them out and take it all apart etc etc If we could "read" them we can also see physically where they are wrong. With 26 lights you cant just pull it all out without wrecking it. Pairing make sure your Bluetooth is on, then start reconnect all mine 3 units lost connection and yep it was a pain. But it works.

So I had 3 Basic LED Cololight Hexagons, they all responded to my phone perfectly and without issue. Once I bought 6 more hexagons, which are pro, I connected them all together and they now won't connect to my phone. It'll sometimes reach but will fail, most of the time it'll fail at Pairing in less than 30 seconds. Mind you, when I just had just the 3 I was using the old app, now with this new one it won't even work. I want to use these, WHY won't you let me?

The app is full of bugs and the most annoying is when it can't connect to the server (which happens alot) so you are unable to adjust the cololight device. Ashame since the cololights themselves are great. The app really let's it down. They need to fix it. On a side note, I'd appreciate if they got rid of the timed ADs to buy more cololight each time I opened the app 😊

Absolutely horrible experience. I've had the light for more than a year and I mostly turn it on manually as the app never works. I tried and tried and tried to my own pattern but it takes forever to (on a lucky day) or it just doesn't work at all. I originally thought I'd buy more lights in the future but I'm not going to do it and I'm going to buy from other brands.
